Trans resilience is power. We are at a time when we are called to fight for collective resistance to anti-trans bias, hate, and violence. How can we best show up for ourselves and each other? How do we use our resources wisely so that we can avoid giving up or burning out?

In this free event for trans communities and allies, the presenter will lead a discussion on what it means to engage in self-care and healing in order to strengthen a movement toward justice, as well as navigate interactions with health care and other challenging systems. Specific coping skills and strategies will be discussed and taught, and the presenter will share their own experience of being a nonbinary person of color working to break down binarism and trans-phobia within the fields of trans health and psychology.
